Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrueEntropy quantum random number API service ("Service") operated by Interlink Digital Group Limited ("Company", "we", "us"), registered in England and Wales, with registered office at Lancaster House, Amy Johnson Way, Blackpool FY4 2RP.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Service Description

TrueEntropy provides quantum-generated random numbers via a REST API. The Service is powered by QuBitLang, our proprietary quantum programming language, executing quantum circuits on IBM Quantum hardware. All entropy is verified against NIST SP800-22 statistical test suites before delivery.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account and obtain API keys via the Developer Dashboard at app.trueentropy.net. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

4. API Usage & Rate Limits

Your use of the API is subject to the rate limits and request quotas of your subscription tier. Exceeding your tier's monthly allocation will result in overage charges at £0.004 per 1,000 additional requests, unless you have configured a hard spending limit in your dashboard.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the QuBitLang compiler or circuit definitions
• Share API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code
• Exceed rate limits through automated circumvention
• Resell the Service without prior written agreement

6. Intellectual Property

QuBitLang, the QuBitLang compiler, and all associated circuit definitions are the intellectual property of Interlink Digital Group Limited. The random numbers delivered to you via the API are yours to use without restriction.

7. Service Level Agreement

Uptime commitments are defined per subscription tier and detailed in our Service Level Agreement. Free tier accounts do not carry SLA guarantees.

8. Data Protection

We process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation including the UK GDPR. The Service is designed with data minimisation principles - no personally identifiable information is processed in the entropy generation pipeline.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked and access to the dashboard will cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email and dashboard notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
